Is this it for Bolt before Moscow or does he have more meets?

Bolt showed last 5 years in big championships that he can to be 19.2-3 not very hard.
2008 19.30
2009 19.19
2011 19.40 in lane3(in outside lane 19.3 sure)
2012 19.32 jogging last 10 metres(19.26-19.28 probably running normally)

In those times it is very sure that NOBODY can to be near of him.
We will see his shape in Moscow, but im sure that he will in good shape 8-)

How come that Lemaitre's start is so consistently horrible?

Lemaitre needs a new coach. His starts continue to be horrible, and his potential/talent being wasted. Just a terrible start/first 100.

Bolt has proven over and over again that he is a major championship runner regardless of what he does on the circuit. All the doubters/ haters will be silenced come Moscow

In the prediction pools, I will definitely pick him for gold in 200. Not so sure about the 100, the way Gay has been running. Oh yes, I am definitely going with Shelly Ann in 100.

Tyson Gay is likely training as well. I suspect he has not peaked yet either.

It is safe for me to predict that Bolt will get 3 gold medals in Moscow.

I think that's a safe bet. Bolt always brings his best to OG & WC. But if there is any sprinter of the last 6 years who is not intimidated by Bolt, it would be Gay. Granted, Gatlin beat him earlier this year, but I bet Bolt looks at that as a hiccup. To put it in other words, I think Gay & Blake are the only two sprinters Bolt thinks have a chance vs him in a Championship meet. (Cuz they're the only two to have done so.) :-)

At their best, I still think Bolt beats Gay comfortably in the 200, but more of a squeaker in the 100. Only Bolt has been sub 9.69, and it will be interesting to see if Gay can go there also. If the relay order allows, wouldn't it be a fitting end to the WC for Bolt & Gay to get the baton even for the anchor leg of the 4x100.

I can easily imagine Gay beating Bolt at 100m. I can not fathom Bolt losing to Gay in the 4x100 having received the batons even.

This is a tenth faster so I presume Bolt is slightly better now. Moscow is in five weeks which is plenty of time to get things together.

His 100m has been far off the mark. He had already run 9.76 an 9.79 last year, much superior to any 19.7-8 time.

Agreed with everything here.

But a strong part of me envisions Gay winning the double. one way or the other...

Why still no updates on Blake's condition? Is that top secret info?

perhaps pointless to go on about this point, but it seems apparent that Lemaitre needs a better coach - and to get out of his comfort zone.

he's a huge talent.

on the other hand, maybe his coach knows what he's doing and he's bringing him along slowly this year.

in any case, Lemaitre's start and drive phase not nearly as good as his potential.

In Bolts post race interview he said his coach banned him from speaking on Blake.

Unless Blake races prior to Moscow, I pretty much expect a "Tyson Gay Beijing" like performance.

His start is atrocious. He's a talented you man and I would love to see him start with the rest, instead of always coming along in the second half. Lemaitre needs a start coach ASAP.

I've heard from 1 coach in France that he has a lot of 'issues' and would probably do much worse getting out of his comfort zone. I agree though, seeing as his coach is a joke.

His agent manager promised an update last Tuesday.

So much for the word of his agent manager.
