I'm thrilled to see Oliver back. Now we need Merritt and Richardson at their sharpest to sweep this baby.

WL for Oliver, getting back to his 2010 season. richardson is stuck on 13.2 most of the year.

Good run by Oliver. He's been improving all season. On the other hand, Richardson has been in a 13.20's rut.

Great to see David Oliver getting back to his best!! I've never been a fan of Richardson's technique though, he has a horrible trail leg action.

Most likely related to that excessive "across the body/head" lead arm action which often has him twisting at touchdown and into the get-away stride (too much rotation).

The next-to-last paragraph in the IAAF report from Lausanne says that David Payne broke his femur in his fall at the end of the race. Do any of you know any more details?

Ouch! :( Looking back on the race that was a pretty bad fall. I heard he had surgery last night. I'm not certain if that's true but i wish him a speedy recovery regardless.
