Bryzhina is the daughter of former Soviet 400m/4x400m star Ohla Bryzhina of the Ukraine, who won Olympic gold over 400m and ran that scorching 47,7 anchor split in Seoul ahead of Griffith-Joyner to help the Soviets set the still-standing 4x400m WR.

Predictable race. Shelly wins from an inside lane Sherrone a runner up after being out of it for the first 120 and storming the last 50 of the straight. I am afraid Shelly is not going to get that much "experience" on the circuit running against this type of "competition".

If everything goes well she will get the competition needed at trials from VCB,Felix,Jeter and i am hoping Okagbare can do something this year ....but nonetheless a cool race from SAFP

This didn't look as good as Kingston from Fraser-Pryce, she was never challenged but I think she got to fourth gear and that's it. Perhaps a little jetlag or something else, conditions were good but maybe not the speed on the bend we saw in her last race.

With VCB at 22.18w and Okagbare with 22.31 and Felix with 50.1 400m strength off 100/200 training, I think it's going to be a good year for the 200m.
