I'm really impressed by Bosse and think he's got a bright future ahead of him.

49,04 pacer, with Rudisha controlling pack behind in ca. 50-low
1.17,70 for Rudisha at 600m
1.43,87 victory for Rudisha with a fierce kick over the final 100m; was in some danger.

Nice race overall, I was worried for Rudisha those last 80m's.

That race showed how Rudisha can be vulnerable to kickers if he doesn't push a sub-1:43 pace.

For DR, it was almost literally a "stroll in the park".
And that's where he might make the error that dominant athletes sometimes make....taking his (or her) winning for granted.
I'm not saying he did that, but if he isn't careful, there's Amos, Aman, and Kitum all waiting to pounce.
Then you have two (and maybe 3, with Sowinski??) Americans now under 1:43.
DR won't be able to cruise through many more 800's this year....not if he wants to win every race!

BTW, have you heard he's going to run the 1000 in Ostrava in late June??
He said it's his first 1000, so doesn't want to predict a time.
Should be interesting.

Good opener for Rudisha. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see it(at work), but this seems to show he's in good shape. A win over Aman should be good for him. Still, it shows Aman can always be a threat if he's close enough to use his kick.

Hoping Kitum is not already washed up at 18
