Is it just me or is running a 47 much harder than it used to be? I don't want to think the worst . . . has the talent level really fallen that much?

Gaymon fell at the last hurdle, Jack Green stopped at the end of the back straight

What's the deal with VanZyl? Wasn't he running mid-47's just 2 years ago?

27 is up there, Sanchez not withstanding. He also had a fairly awful 2012, punctuated by bouncing out in the heats in London.

I will say however that RSA has had a fine run of hurdlers with him, Fredericks, Myburgh, De Villiers, Cilliers, and others.
