Looked it up yesterday.
It's 10 hours from WA state (Pacific time), so it's 7 hours from East Coast time.
Since 1900 hours is actually 7 o'clock, that translates to noon in NYC, and 9 a.m. here.

Actually, the first field event begins at 1725, or 5:25 p.m. Doha time, and 10:25 a.m. NY time, and 7:25 a.m. here in WA state.
The first major running event (men's 400H) is at 1904 there, so 12:04 p.m. NY time, and 9:04 a.m. here.

I have 1 hour 10 minutes to take my blood pressure pills (seriously!), and to prepare my 2 egg, matzoh, swiss cheese, and broccoli omelet breakfast!! (Add an Alaskan shrimp/crab cake and a glass of OJ!) :D

Don't know if it's true, or where he got the info, but Alberto Stretti has tweeted the following proposed paces for various races today:

Men's 800: 49 or 50 at 400.
Men's 1500: 1:52 at 800 and 2:49 at 1200.
Men's 3000: 2:29 at 1K and 3:44 at 1500.

Women's 1500: 2:07 at 800 and 2:40 at 1000.
Women's 3K SC: 70-71 per lap.

I know!
I was shocked when I saw that too.
That would be, even at the slower 71, an 8:52.5 WR pace!!

But don't forget...this was Alberto Stretti's tweet. not mine!!
And I have no idea where he got these numbers from.

She has the DL win, but who has the WC entry -- when it is the same the WC trumps ... and the winnner is?

Williams (AF has the OG Gold, not the WC)

I guess the traffic is more than the Doha server can bear.

Well....now that that's over.....
to quote the ever-quotable Bob Dylan.....

I started out on burgundy
But soon hit the harder stuff.
Everybody said they'd stand behind me
when the game got rough.
But the joke was on me.
There was nobody even there to call my bluff.
I'm going back to New York City!
I do believe I've had enough!!

Yep!!
Now that Doha is finished....
it's on to New York City....
and the Adidas DL!! :D

ADD: I know Shanghai is actually the next DL meet, but for poetic purposes, I had to use the NY meet!

That is why they call it poetic license. :)
