It took 37 years, after Bowden, to get to 200, but only 19 years to do the next 200.

Last April (2012) new Zealand had 37 under 4 minutes. Don't know what the latest is but possibly about 40. I understand the Aussies had 50 something under 4 minutes.

And Robby Andrews finishes 4th and gets a newspaper article about breaking 4 minutes for the Mile for the first time. Think that would have happened if he ran 3:40 for the 1500 for the first time? Nope. Another reason to bring back the Mile - a media magnet (and for good reason - Americans get the distance). Go Mile!
