As I said about the first formsheet for the NCAA's, the next 4 weeks....with FL Relays, the dual meets, Mt SAC, Penn, and Drake having strong fields.....will probably see the necessity for a RADICALLY altered formsheet!!

As Bob Dylan sang......

"Time will tell....just who has fell.....and who's been left behind.....when you go your way and I go mine!!"

Evidently, I'm not up on the latest World Championship wild card rules since I don't understand how Chante Lowe and Dawn Harper have wild cards despite not being reigning world champions. Can some explain this for me?

which meant that Aries Merritt sort of had a wild card as well, but the IAAF only allows a nation one, telling the individual feds they need to chose, and they went with reigning World Champ over reigning DL champ.

i THINK, if I were god, that would have been my choice too, although there is something to be said for going with the more recent champ.

Having said that, the DL winners can sometimes be somewhat "by default." No offense to Charonda Williams (the reigning DL 200 champ), but choosing her over Felix, had she won in Daegu, woulnd't have floated too well, neh?

Lowe, by the way, is pregnant again. Baby not due until July, but hopes nonetheless to advantage herself of her wild card and give it a go in Moscow anyway.

Wait! You mean to suggest that you're not? Oh man, this really changes things for me...I've been reading and posting here for the past several years on the assumption -- you know -- TFN is the Bible, and gh is the supreme being. You have got to give us some warning with these announcements. I think I need to go lie down for a while, to let this sink in. In the meantime, I guess I'll have a look at these USATF top 10s.

The latest one I see is May 7.
The latest NCAA formchart for women is from May 15.

ADD: Oops!! I see, this thread is from a month ago!!

Is Spanx the uniform supplier?
(it's a joke, I say it's a joke, son)

I do believe the next formchart will see a few changes.
Like....
moving Mary Cain up from 7th.
placing Treniere Moser in the 5000 field, probably top 3.
giving due credit to Lolo Jones's early successes, and moving her up from 9th!
