And has no business on this website's front page. For obvious reasons. Now if someone wants to post that on this forum, no problem. But it is not track news.

??!!
Didn't you just call attention to it by starting this thread? It obviously DOES have 'business' being on the front page, because, ipso facto, it is. Until such time as homophobia no longer rears its ugly head, it will remain news. Even you, BillVol, have to admit there are threads here that command much less 'newsworthiness' than this, yet are left to exist without negative comment. Your 'discomfort' with the subject matter (it's about a track team!) may have some meaning in and of itself.

1. Nowhere does the front page use the word "news"; the section that's in is titled Today's Top Headlines, which leaves lots of leeway for opinion, historical reflection, analysis, whatever.

2. On day when the Supremes are taking up one of the biggest social issues in the nation's history, it's very much news.

I'm guessing that if the rumored NFL player who is going to come out does in fact....it will be noted occasionally within the confines of NFL News.

As a lover of both T&F and music......especially 50's-60's music..... my first thought was.....

What do The Supremes......Diana Ross and Co......have to do with THIS?? 8-)

OK, made me look. Found this first and thought it was funny. It's in an article about "The 10 NFL Players Most Likely To Be Gay" (what would you expect from a website named kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com?)

1. Terrell Owens
This is obvious. Lots of people say Owens performs touchdown dances. That’s wrong. Acting out scenes with only a football as your prop isn’t dance. It’s mime. And you know where mime comes from? France. And you know where gayness comes from? That’s right, TO. Alienate all the teammates you want. We know it’ll never hide your secret love of having red-hot, Francophilic [expletive deleted] while imagining you’re trapped inside a box.
