What happened to Aldrich Bailey?
Only 47.00 on the anchor?

Looks like George Mason was Running On EMPTY!! :lol:

And Arkansas ran the GAUNTLETT!! :D

The old record was 3:03.51, so despite being close, the Florida group might not have gotten the AmCR, although I do not know if the previous CR was an AmCR also).

Gators ran with a non US athlete in the previous record. Gators set the AmCR last night.

Actually--at least in older and more proper spellings--Arkansas ran the gantlet.

But Arkansas did throw down the gauntlet. And Florida put up their dukes.

it's more complicated than that. You can run the gantlet (original spelling) or gauntlet (a modern version that's acceptable in some circles), but you can only throw down the gauntlet, not the gantlet.
