A longish thread on LetsGrummble; outcome is that it is not clear if she is doing with competitive running period or just done for now (and for college, since she is almost done and she will not come back from injury fast enough to be competitive at a level she would consider acceptable).

She told Pat Henry around the time of the Conference meet. From Eugene Register-Guard story yesterday: <<“It’s a tough situation for our team. One of the best distance runners in the U.S. decided she doesn’t want to compete anymore.”>>

Someone on the Let'sRun MB who claims to be a friend of Rogers says she WILL return to running....but wants to concentrate on her schooling and personal life at least until she graduates in a few months.

So it sounds like we haven't lost this great talent entirely!!

Best.....or at least funniest!.....remark on the Let'sRun MB about Pat Henry supposedly criticizing Rogers....leading to her "quitting":
