She now has FOUR indoor records....and might have SIX (two of them breaking her OWN records!!) by the time the April issue goes to press!!

i was hyping cain and wilson at eugene olympic trials last year

oddly cain was only eligible at 800, just missed the 1500

didnt bolt make the cover at 16 with his world junior gold ?? a sub 20 i recall

Scanned the T&FN Archives a bit, and found the first Bolt cover to be the Sept issue of 2003.
This gets tricky!!
He was born August 21st of 1986.
That issue probably went to press in late July or very early August.
Meaning Bolt was THEN 16 years and 11 months and change!!

Looked for Mary Decker when she was 14 or 15, but she didn't make the cover then.
(Though I think there was an article on her inside at that time!!)

Thus, Mary Cain, at 16 years and 9 months (and about one week) MIGHT be the youngest athlete EVER to make T&FN's cover!!

ok, the front page has info on the 2013 world youth champ in the ukraine july 10-14

the usa trials are june 25-26 in edwardswille ill

mary cain is eligible in 800, 1500, 3000

the schedule in ukraine would be far tougher than the 2 day illinois schedule would be as there are more tougher youth globally than in usa

i think 2 atletes could enter for the usa per event

in the 800
