I think, in this case, the O stands for Oregon.. one of the announcers kept referring to the Oregon State bright orange singlets until his broadcast partner finally corrected him. Oklahoma State and Oregon State do both have orange/black as their colors.

That was Bob Kennedy who referred to Oklahoma State a few times as Oregon State.

Apparently at one point they took the top placers and had them spliced in around 24th and with Pappas maybe missed altogether. Delta Timing did the meet and messed up the DIII race also, from what I understand. Again, it was the woman's race and was worse than the DI fiasco.

In the men's race, the top five scorers belonged to OSU (2) and Wisconsin (3), talk about low sticks.
