Re: Stockholm DL—mJTPitkamaki 86.98. He could have used this form a week ago.
Re: Stockholm DL—mJTI love how Pitkamaki throws himself into it, Al Cantello-like, and lands belly-down on the ground. I don't understand why everyone doesn't throw that way!!
Re: Stockholm DL—mJTFinally
Re: Stockholm DL—mJT
Vesely JUST DID, on his last throw. Didn't do him much good.
Re: Stockholm DL—mJTThat 86.98m is his best throw in Sweden; his previous best was 86.90m set in Göteborg in 2005.

Re: Stockholm DL—mJTI'm watching the meet on Swiss TV and they said Pitkämäki has been working with Zelezny recently. When did they come together?
Re: Stockholm DL—mJTWasn't aware of that, but found the IAAF link:
http://www.iaaf.org/news/newsid=62502.html. Youtube has a couple of training videos.
Re: Stockholm DL—mJT
Thank you, I totally missed that.
Re: Stockholm DL—mJT
On the other hand, his first three throws in Stockholm were below 80m. With this performance, he would not have been in the last three rounds in the Olympics.
Re: Stockholm DL—mJT
Off and on since the beginning of the year. Could Thorkildsen be next?
