A good and interesting article. Dreams are free and unfortunately Michelle's dreams will likely remain dreams. Must be hard following your Dad's footsteps when he set and still holds the most incredible HS record of all time (Jacko notwithstanding who still has a bit further to go).

"fantasyland" is a litle harsh if you read what she actually said. She was largely expressing her dreams, and everybody who's good enough to make the final (and many who aren't) certainly have those dreams. You make it sound as if she's delusional.

That's partially the doing of the headline writer, who had to condense some cogent thinking into one 10-word sound bite.
