¶2012 OG: m200–Usain Bolt 19.32 repeats OG goldRe: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quinonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Spearmon has the ability to medal in the final, he's looked crappy in rounds before and put it all together in the final. Bolt will win with Blake 2nd, the Bronze will be up for grabs between Lemaitre, Spearmon, and Martina IMO. I'm guessing a 19.25 for Bolt and a 19.5 for Blake.

Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quinonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Wow, that first semi is tough, with Blake, Lemaitre, Spearmon, Ndure.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20That 1st heat is ridiculous!
3 very serious medal contenders, plus a 4th who could easily be a finalist. Now 2 of them risk elimination, and all of them risk over expending themselves in the semi, which could jeopardize their chances in the final - IF they make it. Ridiculous!
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20strange, that third heat looks incredibly mild in comparison.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 203rd?and 2nd?
bolt will run "alone" heheeh
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
For the first 100, then Blake will start creeping up and nip Bolt at the line!
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Marlow what are you telling?¿
i talk about the semifinals 1st semifinal is very hard. 2nd semifinal Bolt will run alone. i see that you did not understand well. By the other hand, Bolt will win in the final, im sure I must totally in Mr Bolt. I dont understand how exists people that "hate" to Bolt.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Re-refer to my previous post.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Makes sense to me.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–
3:00am? Did he stop that early? Something must be wrong. Did he look ill? No Guinness available? Maybe Blake will win the 200m after all. Everyone knows that Bolt is at his best when partying until 5:00am. His endurance is apparently lacking. He obviously has to go into more serious training, oops, partying tonight. 5:00am or bust. Only then does he have a chance at the gold.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Marlow for the first on this board you are trolling and playing it low...welcome to the world of dissidence.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Not sure if you guys are serious about the party stuff, but interestingly after his semis he said he felt a bit winded. Winded after 20.39?
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
You by far, are my favourite poster. On a serious note though, I understand and agree with your ideas.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
200 heats took place in the morning, semis and final will take place in the evening. Bolt can be winded as much as he wants running heats in the morning; expect him to be on top of his game in the evening.

Blake-20,01 eased wayy up with both Spearmon (20,02) and Lemaitre (20,03) nearly catching him at the line. Lemaitre needs to sit and watch, hoping he's in the final. Spearmon ran a better curve today. Last edited by EPelle on Wed Aug 08, 2012 11:13 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Lemaitre ran a weak turn, while Spearmon finally ran a sold turn.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20LOL at Lemaitre's reaction when he saw he finished 3rd. He should be fine off of time, but he won't get a good lane.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Yeah, Blake almost timed that one wrong, eased up too much.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Very relaxed 20.18 for Bolt.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20SF-2
Bolt in 20,18. A lot left in the tank. Very relaxed - not just down homestretch; ran the bend rather comfortably. Great start from the blocks. Quiñónez came under a bit of pressure there. Jobodwana second auto Q.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Exactly, should advance over time, but no preferred lane.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Yeah, Spearmon in a good spot entering the homestretch, that was the real surprise.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Fun fact: Jobodwana actually studies at Jackson State (same college as Walter Payton).
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20I'm just curious to see what lane Usain gets for tomorrow. He prefers outside lanes, so will he get the same lane he had in the 200 final. I think it was Lane 6 or 7.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20kmt. Blake cannot beat Bolt! I said it in the 100m and the 200m is gonna be the same.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20false start Mathieu
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20SF-3
Jamaica gets its third Q into the final with Weir second to Martina's 20,17. Michael Mathieu DQ on FS (0,234 RT).
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20Spearmon gets preferred lane, in addition to Martina, Bolt, Blake.

Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
Lemaitre in interview talks about being unhappy with the way he ran the turn, in both heat and semi.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Yohan Blake leads semis at 20.01Based on semis, Bolt still looking good for gold, Blake still looking good for silver, and a few candidates for bronze.
Re: 2012 OG: m200–
Bolt for gold.... Blake for silver.... Spearmon for bronze.... Lemaitre fourth... Martina fifth... Weir sixth....
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Alex Quiñonez (Ecu) leads Q to semis at 20
With which network?
Re: 2012 OG: m200–Yohan Blake leads semis at 20.01Blake seems to have improved his curve. He will be right there with Bolt coming off and likely pass him.
