Yohan Blake ate Tyson on that curve
It's expected, I bet that's the first time he ran a curve all out since 2010

Why was Gay running the curve with his hip issues anyway? Wasn't that the reason why he chose to focus on the 100?

Great race, but worst streaming of the meet. I got about 10 frames through the entire relay.

Congrats to Canada on the Bronze!

On edit: What, DQ???

As wrong as I was in predicting the women's 4x100, I've made up for it with this :)

He ran the curve in Monaco just before London and had no problems then.

Don't know; announcers here said it last thing before they went into commercial break, haven't seen any replay.

Usain should have handed the official a dollar (or perhaps a Euro) for the baton

How many times must it be repeated? Speed is fungible. Gatlin gave the U.S. the lead on his leg. Had he anchored and Bailey ran second, Gatlin would have gotten the baton behind Bolt instead of even with him like Bailey did.

Well, the Jamaicans took 0.20 off their NR, the US 0.36 off their pre-London NR.

Yeah, only problem was they needed to be a few steps ahead. That's what they were counting on. Still, marvelous race for both teams. 36.84 and 37.04 are stupendous in mediocre sprinting conditions (though a fabulous surface). An 0.20 margin is probably the mean of predictions that could have been accumulated before the games.

Fanstastic run! One can only imagine what they would have run if Powell was healthy and ran the lead off leg.

Could have been quite a bit faster. THe exchange between Blake and Bolt can only be described as average at best.

Watching the race live it looked like Trinidad was struggling to get the last exchange in the zone.

Who the hell is the director on the stream?????
