Ykhov, BTW, had two misses at 2.28. Silnov had single misses at 2.31, .33 and .35, then took the lead by clearing 2.37 at "the first time of asking", as they say.
I doubt Demus makes the team.... McCorory - Felix - Trotter - Richards
The only reason I think the Russians have a shot is because of this ludicrous 4x400, 4x100, 100, 200 quadruple that Felix is doing. Also Richards-Ross 200, 400, 4x400 attempt is also a concern (and heaven forbid she pops up on the 4x100 as well).
I'm blanking and my cyrillic is a tad rusty. Was the third one Shustov? Best HJ coverage I've ever seen.
I always mix up Silnov and Shustov but found a way to keep them straight. Silnov looks like Putin. Shustov always ksses his hands (what is up with that?). HJpers are so quirky.
Thank God Ukhov looks completely different (and is very cute!).

I just love it when dopers come back after being suspended and run/throw even further than before.
Well clearly she isn't the only doper that has return that as run/throw further - that's a fact I love how you post this and it will be quite haunting for the rest of the year & future
Final 22,19 1,0 Aleksandra Fedoriva 22,49 1,0 Natalya Rusakova 22,65 1,0 Elizabeta Savlinis 22,73 1,0 Olga Belkina 22,82 1,0 Yuliya Chermoshanskaya 23,04 1,0 Yekaterina Voronenkova 23,30 1,0 Yelena Kozlova 23,36 1,0 Marina Panteleyeva
Yup... Seems like those 400's payed off... I wonder if they'll put her on the 4x400... and more importantly... can she carry this over to the Olympics?
Crazy good results from Russia (even many of them can't probably be replicated at the Olympics). Still, can't wait for the olympics, since the world list results are getting really good this year.
LMAO I love the Russian National meets. what a freaking JOKE!!! Dead at 4 random Russian runners who haven't posted top 20 times all year and out of no where they run 4 of the 5 fastest times in the world????? I always have a good laugh at the Russian Nationals.
Then to think it couldn't get any worse, some random chick runs 22.19 in the 200m???? Yes I live for this COMEDY!!!!

Very surprising 200m results but Fedoriva is maybe for you some random chick.
<<Project 20? After seeing the Russian Championships results and watching some of what's going in Paris, I'm beginning to think our medal count in London may be closer to 20 than 30.>>
