The 'normal' Eugene rainfall the last week in June is a 'whooping' 0.03 inches per day [based on NOAA official norms]. That is, it averages almost a inch per month at that point. Care to give me a location east of the Mississippi that is less than this amount. This much rain in Eugene at this time of year is atypical -- it happens but not very often, as in less than once in 20 years or so.
