Some of it is relative too, Gail has long legs and a short torso so her height isn't as big an issue. Cherry is more in proportion.

Since Bracy is a d1 football player, I would assume he is at least six feet. Is that true?

Demi Omole from Wisconsin was pretty small for a good sprinter -- he ran sub-10w and 10.04 or so wind-legal. He typically was better at 60m than at 100m (no surprise).

Isn't Tyson Gay just 5'10"?

5-8 Barry Sanders comes to mind as a pretty fair D-1/NFL back..and he was not even Bracy fast.

Not for a 100, or a 60, or even a 40, but did ANYone ever have a faster first three steps?

in talking feetsball speed, there's "quick" and there's "fast"

as for fastest first 3 steps (and that may include all the great starters in track history), I'll take Napolean Kaufman.

6'0"or taller being ideal depends on the position as a 20 year NFL study of RB production says that 5'9" is the "optimal height" for a RB in terms of production. Bracy plays WR but nonetheless the article essentially contradicts what many assume is ideal size for one of the feature positions in football, the RB.

Probably at every position except CB and RB you'd probably see the average height at/above 6'0". WR is probably close but trending towards more height over the last 5-7 years.

The optimal size is whatever size Adrian Peterson is. Actually, it seems like AP, Dickerson and OJ are all 6 foot or so.

If the reference was to Eric Dickerson. He is 6 footies and 3 inchies.

A rare tall RB.
