The women had a .6 tail wind by the way... Not looking good for Jamaicas 200m chances considering Felix, Jeter, and SRR had to run 3 rounds of both events, compared these Jamaican ladies only running 2 of each.

Felix is the clear favorite and right now she looks unbeatable. But, a silver and bronze for Jamaica right behind that gold is a big possibility you would admit.

But he makes a valid point. All top 3 US women ran faster than the 1st place finisher in the JA trials. Not saying that means US sweep but Jeter and Felix will be serious competition to think about for the Jamaicans

The US had a week rest between the 100 and 200... The Jamaicans had a couple hours...
US had a +1.0w and JA had +0.6w
All in all though, Felix is clearly the hands down favorite and SAFP is in silver medal contention if you want to compare both of these trials.
Hubert Lawrence did an excellent job as usual commentating on the Jamaica Olympic Trials. I wish the US commentators(Bolt, Hammond, Masback, Lewis) had his knowledge and depth of track and field.

That's a lie....
Place Athlete Name Affiliation Time Wind ReacTime 1 Allyson Felix Nike 21.69 M +1.0 0.203 2 Carmelita Jeter Nike 22.11 +1.0 0.165 3 Sanya Richards-Ross Nike 22.22 +1.0 0.177 4 Kimberlyn Duncan L S U 22.34 +1.0 0.190 5 Jeneba Tarmoh Nike 22.35 +1.0 0.213 6 Tianna Madison Saucony 22.50 +1.0 0.207 7 Bianca Knight adidas 22.60 +1.0 0.210 8 Aurieyall Scott U C F 22.68 +1.0 0.192
The only time there faster than 22.10 is 21.69 if you ask me....

The US women had 2 days... and again they did 3 rounds in both events.
Hopefully VCB gets it back together. I would love to see her win her 3rd gold medal and cement her self as a 200m legend. But that did not look good at all.
