They might not have made it through the first round if they hadn't run Brown and Pinder, so it's a moot point.

Don't.

She's been over-hyped, but not her fault. And she's doing very ok.

In 2000, I thought a world junior record-holder might jump up and score a surprise medal. She didnt' - didn't even make it out of her heat. But she has won two World Championships and two Comm Games golds in the last ten years. Though STILL not lived up to expectaions!

If Jodie managed at least that, surely none of her fans would be unhappy?

Schippers said they're hearing "tss-boom" and you need to move on "tss". She also said that they turned up the volume today and I think the reaction times were indeed on average better in womens 60 as compared to the mens yesterday.

Jodie is more than capable of dealing with a few headlines. She is surrounded by a great team, parents, boyfriend and is a very smart and level headed girl.

The fact that Asha is back is brilliant for both of them and with Desiree Henry on the up as well the UK women's sprints will hopefully be getting a lot more attention on the near future

Glad that VC won but as always, I am a bit concerned with her reaction time. It has been awful all season. Not sure if her reaction here is based on all the 'issues" other athletes are having in hearing the gun.

Hopefully, she will have a better reaction in tomorrow's semi and finals.
