"Well, where is he?" I asked.
"He's at a track meet!" she replied.

Oh, the guilt!I was telling my three-year-old the classic bedtime story "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" a few nights ago, which of course starts by naming the three main characters who live in the house: Daddy Bear, Momma Bear, and Baby Bear.
"No!" she insisted. "Daddy Bear isn't there!" "Well, where is he?" I asked. "He's at a track meet!" she replied. Okay, maybe I've been spending a tad too much time at the track.
