Um, Mr. KnowItAll, Michelle Collins does have Olympic Gold, Perry has an Olympic Bronze, Byrd has World Champs Gold, and so does Kirkland. Any more questions? That's pretty lax, I found all this info within the span of a minute on the web.

Actually, the criteria were "World record holders/Olympians galore!" I know they have medals but the let's get real. Take the group of 8 I cut out directly from the Texas list and compare it to any 8 you select from the Texas list Texas will win everytime. Plus Texas list Acuff and Reina? If you're gonna put a list of Texans together at least make it one that gives the state a decent chance at competing. Having Acuff but not Louise Ritter (Red Oak High School) is comical. My point was and remains that Texas has better athletes than many listed on the original list. Having a 15 year perspective on the sport won't get you very far trying to compete against the folks brutal put up.
