Was the plan to run the 800 & 4x400 trials but not finals - - - - saving him for regionals - - - or is something really wrong ?

Plan was to run Saturday heats, but not the Sunday final. He returned to Philly for his school's graduation exercises on Sunday, while the larger University commencement is today (Monday).
