WHO HAS RUN MOST CONSECUTIVE SUB-10S?I'm assuming Maurice Greene has the longest sub-10sec streak, but does anyone out there know for sure? Who and how many please? (to settle a bet downunder)
Re: WHO HAS RUN MOST CONSECUTIVE SUB-10S?MoSlow be a hasbeen.I guess it be better to be a hasbeen than a never was.
Re: WHO HAS RUN MOST CONSECUTIVE SUB-10S?3 World Titles and 1 Olympic Title at 100 meters...
I'd agree he's on the downside, but I wouldn't discount him reaching the Finals in Paris or Athens... and then there's the pressure... I'd take Chambers to win.
Re: WHO HAS RUN MOST CONSECUTIVE SUB-10S?This reply came from British superstatsman MEL WATMAN who I would not doubt.
As far as I can ascertain, the record number of consecutive sub-10.00 marks is four (taking finals only): Fredericks 1996 (9.95, 9.87, 9.86, 9.89) & 1997 (9.95, 9.98, 9.90, 9.99) Greene 1998 (9.90, 9.92, 9.94, 9.94), 1999 (9.79, 9.93, 9.85, 9.87) and 2001 (9.90, 9.96, 9.98, 9.82) Boldon 1999 (9.97, 9.97, 9.86, 9.86)
Re: WHO HAS RUN MOST CONSECUTIVE SUB-10S?My prediction is Mo taking the title--and faster than his 9.94.
