Home Depot Meet June 1

You might know that there will be a new meet in Southern California on June 1 at Cal State Dominguez Hills (near Long Beach). It is sponsored by Home Depot and I understand that ticket sales are not good. For all of us who love track and field, I think we need to help out with meets like this. I don't think it matters if it's a new meet or an older meet like Modesto, but we need to do something. If you can, spread the word about the meet. It appears they are going to have some good athletes. We need sponsors like Home Depot in our sport. Any ideas?

I saw an ad in todays LA Times. I love T&F and will probably attend. However, the decent seats are $40 and it's a 90 min. meet with very few events. It doesn't compare at all well with Mt. Sac, for example, in terms of value. Totally mis-positioned in my opinion.
