Strange case of the mysterious 200 sprinter

Postby Brutal » Sat Jul 19, 2003 5:22 am

He only comes out when the stakes are high the rest of the time he stays hidden away in his fortress of solitude. What he does between big races ........who knows?

Our 200 avenger lives in Greece making one think he just might have some sorta link to that countrys mythology how else can we explain his mysterious behavior?

Is he the reincarnation of Hermes the speedy messenger of the Gods? Stick the Caduceus in his hand and a pair of winged sandals......bingo!

Hey just a theory.

Nah, he isn't Hermes. But I hear starts the year out hoisting a two month old calf over his shoulders and running. Each day he does this, as the calf gets heavier and heavier and heavier. You know the story.
