Leslie DJHONE very soon for a sub-45" 400m...

Coached by my ex-coach Francois PEPIN who
made Marie-jo PEREC become a World-class
athlete in the early nineties, this young
talent is going to cross, this week-end, if
weather conditions are OK, the sub-45" border...
Don't forget his name: Leslie DJHONE, from
France.
To my opinion he is potentially the next 400m
European record holder(44"33 by SCHOENLEBE in
1987)...

He leads all qualifiers at the European under 23 champs yesterday in Bydgoszcz, Poland, running 45.54. Pretty good !!

Well, he lowered his PR to 45.04 in winning the final, so I don't think you'll get too many arguments about his prospects for going under 45.
