One Person Can Make a Difference

Postby Guest » Wed Jul 16, 2003 10:30 am

I sent a letter to Runner's World Online the other day, and at the end of my incoherent rant I attached CBC's track & field schedule and asked them to include it in their "VCR Alert" section. They put it up!

The next step is to e-mail ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, and so on and ask them why the canucks get so much while we get next to nothing. Believe it or not, you can get under someone's skin; I got a form letter back from the AD at Humboldt State addressing concerns about cutbacks which specifically mentioned the track program.

Hear hear!! I happen to know that even something as crazy as a post to this very message board can potentially be noticed and affect things.
